Ingredients
  

  • ½ pound large shells pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning or 1 packet
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 cup jarred salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta:

  • Cook the large shells pasta according to the directions on the box. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Ground Beef:

  • In a pan, add the ground beef and brown it well.
  • Once browned, drain any excess fat.

Add Taco Seasoning:

  • Stir in the taco seasoning and ¾ cup of water.
  • Cook until the water evaporates and the beef is coated with the seasoning.

Combine with Pasta:

  • Add the drained pasta back into the pan with the seasoned beef.
  • Stir in the salsa and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Mix everything together until well combined.

Serve:

  • Serve immediately, and if desired, top with crunchy tortilla chips for extra texture.
